Located on the western side of the mountain, Lemosho has earned a reputation for its high success rate, beautiful scenery, and fewer crowds. The trek begins at the Lemosho Gate and crosses the entire Shira Plateau, providing an enjoyable, relatively flat hike from Shira Camp 1 to Shira Camp 2. Many hikers today choose the Lemosho route due to its impressive success rate, especially compared to other routes.
